America's CupThe America's Cup is the oldest continuous sporting event dating back to 1851. Over the years it has not changed that much and the winner of the 33rd America's Cup in Valencia, Spain decided to change all that. Larry Ellison, Oracle Corporation founder brought us on-board to create a new, modern event while retaining the tradition and prestige of the America's Cup. We introduced fast, dangerous catamarans, brought all TV production in-house, held races close to shore so fans could be part of the action, created a new World Series to make the America's Cup a regular part of the sports calendar, linked with Ocean NGO's in a legacy program to "Save the World's Oceans", and created the new brand statement that is attracting so much attention — "The Best Sailors on the Fastest Boats". It is a new America's Cup indeed. |

Champions Hockey LeagueThe Champions Hockey League (CHL) was conceptualized and brought to life in 2008 in partnership with the International Ice Hockey Federation. We conceptualized and delivered all aspects of the project, assembled an investor group, sold the broadcast and sponsorship rights, managed all PR and communication, and all event operations. The new CHL quickly established itself as a success with players, fans and media around the world thanks to the high-level exciting competition and the fresh, clean approach to the brand and presentation of the sport on the ice, in the arena, on the web, on TV and in print. The CHL is the most professional European Ice Hockey League that has ever existed. |

Victoria CupThe Victoria Cup is another of our original creations that features the Champions Hockey League winner (European club champion) against the National Hockey League (NHL) of North America in an annual showdown of East vs. West. The first two editions of the Victoria Cup have attracted worldwide attention and delivered excellent value to our sponsor and broadcast partners. In 2008 the NY Rangers narrowly defeated Metallurg Magnitogorsk of Russia in the final seconds and in 2009 defending CHL Champion Zürich Lions defeated the Chicago Blackhawks, marking the first NHL defeat to a European club in over 20 years in an official competition. |

Euro Experience TourOne year prior to the Euro 2008, co-hosted by Switzerland and Austria, UEFA launched an innovative multi-media showcase that was to be delivered in a highly unique way. We were appointed as project manager handling all aspects of the show logistics and delivery. During the 6 month tour nearly 500,000 fans witnessed the 25 minute "Imax-style" flims in 13 different cities – all from inside the largest inflatable domes ever created for a touring event at 60m x 40m x 14m high. |

IAAF Golden League ProjectThe IAAF retained us to conduct a feasibility study regarding the restructure of the IAAF Golden League series of events (Track & Field). We developed several groundbreaking concepts to make the one-day athletics meeting more meaningful, exciting and marketable. The results of the study were unanimously adopted at the IAAF Council meeting during the Beijing Olympics and subsequently put into practice with the formation of the new IAAF Diamond League that started in summer 2010. |
